May 30, 2022 - Sight Seeing 🥾👀

We spent the weekend exploring more of our "backyard". 

We hiked Ranney Hill Trail for some nice views. We also chatted with some other hikers on the trail who suggested some good back country camping spots. Hope to try one out later this summer!

You can see Yellowknife from the top of Ranney Hill.

We visited the Bristol Freighter monument.

While most of the smaller lakes are open the ice still has a pretty firm grip on Great Slave Lake.

The house boats are mostly floating now though!

We even visited the Yellowknife sign!

I was also very excited to visit a green house to buy some flowers for our fake balcony!😁

 I could only buy three 😥 ...so hard to choose!
